There is something aw-inspiring when you are at an event. To see the guests completely absorbed in the experience: laughing, engaged in conversation totally emerged in the moment that is my happy space.  As a curator of event design I understand that your event isn't just and event it is an reflection and extension of you. I've always been drawn to the classics-elegantly edited with a modern allure. It is my passion and intention for our team here at Tabby Lane Events to provide an unparalleled experience for you and your guest filled with personality, unique details and intrigue. With over 10 years of event experience, my portfolio includes an extensive repertoire of elegant  galas, exquisite weddings and corporate events. When I am not designing events you can find me living a full life in the suburbs of Charlotte, NC with my husband Joe, and two lively boys, Parker and Caden. 

Our Story 

With a grandmother like Tabby, Gaylene and Shana were destined to love and celebrate life's most joyous occasions. Parties are grand in our family mainly because it means that our loved ones are together. For Tabby everyone spending time together having a wonderful time was priceless. 

We love these special moments and it is our passion and our commitment to creating these spectacularly memorable moments for our clients. Planning events for us is truly an art form that we are so honored and feel privileged to be able to perform. Each event is a blank canvas. We bring our clients vision to life through tantalizing all of the senses and creating an experience that will be long remembered.

If asked what my favorite part about event planning is I'd say it's designing an event and seeing little pieces of our clients personalities in the intricate details. From the table clothes to the floral designs, our clients personalities can be seen and felt; for me that's the greatest reward. I found my love for events when I was very young. I remember my mother planning weddings and thinking "Wow, I want to do this one day!"  I began my career in event design and management with large corporate businesses overseeing galas, promotional events, and themed events. With a background in Project Management, no detail will go unnoticed.
